Pilgrim Baby Names

The roster of Mayflower passengers is quite inspiring if you love old-fashioned, classic, or virtue names. Embarking in 1620, parents from Delfshaven, Holland and London, England sailed the Atlantic at great risk in order to establish their faith in the New World. The names they chose for their children often reflected their beliefs, whether biblical or creative, and they are are a fascinating and inspiring group.

The First Thanksgiving at Plymouth by Jennie A. Brownscombe

These are names of all of the children aboard the Mayflower who embarked on the voyage, and if they survived, went on to settle Plymouth Colony in Massachusetts. Some of them are names of children who were sent abroad as servants, sadly, as they were deemed illegitimate or homeless. If a name was repeated I've only included it once (there were three girls named Mary, for example). Here's the full list of passengers.
